Founded in 2017, Matimba Yeru Energy has grown from a focused LED-lighting provider into an integrated energy and infrastructure partner.

Our core principles have guided us from the very beginning; using practical engineering and responsible local capability to improve how energy is used.
Our story began with LED luminaires designed and engineered for demanding South African environments. Today it extends to Solar PV, battery energy storage systems, embedded-generation compliance, electrical compliance and infrastructure, supporting civil and engineering works, system and process monitoring, solar automation and long-term project support.
Our focus is to connect these various disciplines into one coherent project - reducing interface risks and giving clients a crystal clear line of oversight and accountability.
